BROOME SURF LIFESAVING CLUB

Courtney & Will are a down to earth couple with a real zest for adventure. They both work for The Royal Flying Doctors’ Service so it was very befitting to catch up with them on the runway of Broome Airport to capture some pre-Wedding moments cruising the tarmac during a small break in the air traffic. 

If Courtney or Will were nervous on the day it didn’t show.  Will casually got ready as his groomsmen came and went, while Courtney kicked back listening to some great tunes with her girls doting on her where they felt it needed.  Courtney chose to get ready in one of the Cable Beach Club bungalows as they always yield fantastic light to capture all those special bridal preparation moments.  Dressed in her contemporary gown she seemed to glide into the room for our first view.  She looked amazing standing there in the golden light as her maid of honour fitted her with one of the most opulent veils we’ve ever seen. By the time Courtney and her entourage arrived at the amphitheater the sea breeze had swept in cutting through the afternoon humidity.  Will managed to hold it together as Courtney slowly made her way down the aisle with her dad proudly by her side. Their heartfelt words to each other saw their guests welling up but with the exchange of rings and a passionate kiss, everyone’s happy tears dried.  

Courtney + Will really wanted to capture the red cliffs around Broome.  So we settled on Reddell beach for the post-ceremony location. It didn’t disappoint. As the afternoon light steadily turned on its charm we worked on capturing them settling into their comfort zone and into their new life as husband and wife.
