The Billi Resort

Even after living and working in Broome for over a decade, we’re still amazed at how incredible Cable Beach is for a ceremony location. It never loses its relaxed, tropical vibe. Shelley + Scott are a seriously laidback couple who share a common passion for beaches and the outdoors, they could not wait to share Broome and its stunning beaches with all of their guests. 

The guests gathered early for the ceremony, reveling in the beautiful afternoon with the promise of love, fun and a bespoke local ale-rumoured to have all the flavour and warmth of a Cable Beach sunset, without the sandy after taste.

Shelley completely knocked Scotty’s socks off as she walked barefoot to him dressed in her stunning ‘Grace Love's Lace' gown. He literally looked as if he’d just won the Lottery as Shelley’s dad quietly gave her away. 

They completely charmed the pants off their guests reflecting on their life together, their promises to each other and under the watchful gaze of the beautifully adorned ‘Margot’ they sealed it all up with a sultry kiss.

The bubbles and hugs flowed freely as the guests watched the couple stroll off up the beach with us while the sun set over the mirror-calm Indian Ocean.  

Back at The Billi Resort, a cracker lineup of local and visiting vendors had the reception looking and feeling incredible.  DMK Kitchens produced some amazing food. The Crusin' Kombi Keg never ran out of beer and Notch8 Events had the crowd's measure all night as the dance floor was never empty.
